Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your zip code, which we use to find college athletes from your area
• Your mobile number, if you provide one

If you sign in with Google rather than with an emailed link, we also store the account identifier, the access tokens Google returns to us, and the profile picture URL from your Google account, so that we can recognise you the next time you sign in.

If you send us a message through our contact form, we receive your name, your email address, and the message itself.

How We Use Your Information

• Your email address is used to send your weekly report and your sign-in links
• Your zip code is matched to a county so we can show you athletes from your area
• Your name is used to address your report and our emails to you
• If you give us a mobile number we store it with your account. We do not send text messages

We do not send promotional emails, advertisements, or third-party offers.

How You Use the Site

While you are signed in, we record what you do in the app: the players and teams you view, follow, and unfollow, the searches you run, the games you open, and whether you opened your weekly report. These records are tied to your account.

We do this to understand which parts of Campus Watch are actually useful, so we can improve them. We do not sell this data, share it, or use it for advertising.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker, and there are no advertising cookies on this site.

Cookies

We use one cookie to run the site. It is named cw_session, it keeps you signed in, it is marked HttpOnly so that scripts running in the page cannot read it, and it expires after 90 days. Logging out deletes it. We also set short-lived cookies during Google sign-in to secure that exchange.

We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking you across other websites.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for their marketing purposes. Your data is yours.

Third-Party Services

Three outside services handle some of your data so that Campus Watch can work:

• Postmark — sends our email. Your email address and the contents of the messages we send you pass through Postmark and are retained by them.
• LocationIQ — converts your zip code into a county so we can find athletes near you. They receive the zip code only, not your name or email address.
• Google — used only if you choose to sign in with Google. Google confirms your identity and returns an account identifier and tokens, which we store.

Each of these has its own privacy policy and handles data under its own terms.

Email

By signing up you consent to receive your weekly Campus Watch report, along with account emails such as sign-in links. If you want to stop receiving email from us, email us and we will take you off the list.

We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable email regulations.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete it, we delete your account and the data associated with it.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To make a request, email us at info@campuswatchweekly.com. We will respond promptly.
