Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Campus Watch.

The Basics
What is Campus Watch?

Campus Watch is a free website and weekly email that follows the college athletes you care about. Choose your players and teams once, and we track their games, stats, and stories — on the site whenever you want them, and in a report that comes to you each week during the season.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden fees. Sign up with your email and your report starts showing up weekly, in season.

How does it work?

Your zip code tells us your county, and we show you players from that county plus the counties around it — closest first, because hometown talent doesn't stop at a county line. Add whoever you want to follow, along with anyone else you care about from anywhere in the country, and once you're signed in you can widen or narrow how far out we look. From then on we track their games, pull their stats, and write up how they played, so it all arrives in one place instead of you hunting box scores across a dozen different school websites.

Do I need a password?

No — Campus Watch has no passwords at all. To sign in, give us your email and we'll send you a link that logs you in when you click it, or use “Continue with Google.” There's nothing to remember and nothing to reset.

When does the report arrive?

Once a week during the season, covering the previous week's games — usually Monday or Tuesday, depending on when the NCAA data for the weekend's games becomes available. We'd rather send it a day later than send it with games missing.

Coverage
What sports are covered?

Basketball is live now. Football and soccer are coming in 2026, with baseball and lacrosse arriving in the spring of 2027. When a new sport launches you can choose to follow it or not, so you only receive what you actually care about.

What divisions are covered?

NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III. Most services only cover D1, but we think the D2 and D3 athletes from your hometown deserve coverage too. In a lot of cases, those are the players your community actually watched grow up.

Do you cover every school?

Yes. If a school competes in NCAA Division I, II, or III, we track it — more than a thousand programs across the three divisions. There's always a chance of an odd gap at the edges, so if you spot a school we're missing, email us and we'll get it added.

What areas are supported?

Anywhere in the United States. Campus Watch supports communities across all 50 states. Enter your ZIP code and we'll find college athletes with roots in your area, no matter where in the country you live. If you're in a more rural area, you may need to broaden your search radius to find enough athletes to follow.

How do you determine if an athlete is "from" my area?

We use the hometown a player lists on their school roster and match it to a county. If an athlete's hometown is in your county, or in one of the nearby counties you're searching, they'll show up for you. You can also add any athlete to your list regardless of hometown. Keep in mind that players who grew up in more than one place may list a hometown you wouldn't expect — if someone is missing, adding them to your list directly is the surest way to include them.

Your Report
Can I customize which athletes I follow?

Yes — that's the whole idea. Add any athlete to your list and they'll appear in every report regardless of their hometown, and remove anyone you're not interested in. Your list, your call.

Can I follow teams as well as players?

Yes. Alongside individual players you can follow whole teams — useful for the school your kid plays for, your own alma mater, or the local college you'd watch anyway. Teams and players sit in the same place, so you manage them together.

What if an athlete I follow doesn't play that week?

Athletes who didn't have a game that week are listed in a compact “Didn't Play” section so you always have a complete picture of your roster — without the clutter of a full card for a game that didn't happen.

What happens in the off-season?

The report follows the season. When the season ends the weekly emails stop until the next one begins, so you're not getting mail about games nobody played. The site stays open the whole time — your list is still there, and you can look back through the season's games and stats whenever you want.

Account & Privacy
What if I move? Can I change my zip code?

Yes, in your profile. Update your zip code and we'll match you to your new county. Everyone already on your list stays on it, so you won't lose anyone by moving.

How do I unsubscribe?

Email us at info@campuswatchweekly.com and we'll take you straight off the list — no confirmation emails, no guilt-trip forms. Your profile will also let you subscribe and unsubscribe sport by sport, so once football, soccer, baseball and lacrosse arrive you can take the ones you want and skip the rest.

How do I delete my account?

Email us at info@campuswatchweekly.com and ask, and we'll delete your account and the data that goes with it. If you'd rather just stop the emails and keep your list, tell us that instead and we'll do that.

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell, share, or rent your information to anyone. We collect your name, email address, and zip code to build and send your report, and while you're signed in we record what you view and follow so we can improve the app. Our Privacy Policy spells out all of it.
