Why we built this

Every town has athletes who went on to play college sports. Some made it to D1. Others are grinding it out at smaller schools, putting up big numbers in front of smaller crowds. All of them deserve to be followed.

We got tired of manually searching box scores and rosters across dozens of different websites just to see how someone from our town did over the weekend. So we built the tool we always wanted — one weekly email that covers your local athletes automatically, across basketball, football, baseball, lacrosse and soccer.

What makes it different

Most college sports coverage focuses on ranked programs and professional prospects. We focus on your area. The athlete who graduated from your high school three years ago and is putting up big numbers at a D3 school — we cover them. Their family and friends deserve to know how they're doing.

Most sports sites are generic — everyone sees the same thing. Campus Watch is built around your list of athletes.

Our commitment

Campus Watch is free. We believe access to information about local athletes shouldn't cost anything. We're building something we'd want to use ourselves — no spam, no selling your data.

Who we are

We're a small group of former college athletes and software engineers based in Schenectady, New York. No marketing department, no investors, no parent company — we are the team. We write the code, we follow the players, and we use this ourselves every week.

Schenectady is exactly the kind of place Campus Watch was built for: a small city whose athletes scatter to colleges all over the country every fall, where keeping track of them used to mean knowing somebody who knew. We figured a lot of other towns had the same problem.
